Cupcake Bliss

I  Love cupcakes. Whats not to love, right? You got the moist fluffy cupcake, and then the sweet savory icing decor on top... ( Runs to get a second cupcake).

Today, I dedicated my whole Thursday to making these sweet treats. It took one failed batter, and two trips to the grocery store to get 'em right. Nonetheless, I had fun..unntilll I finished and saw the mess I left over. Ah the dreaded kitchen mess.

 I used two recipes for two different batches. They tasted the same. At lest for me.You can find them here and here .
As for the icing i opted to store- bought butter cream frosting...BUT i did tweak it a bit.
The icing it self seemed too think for me so I whipped it for about 1-2 minutes... and then I realized they sell whipped icing...Anyways, i added 1/8 tsp of vanilla extract and 1 tsp of ground cinnamon. 

Then the fun part: decorating the cupcakes. You can't go wrong, with that. I used chocolate, pink and blue sprinkles. Sliced strawberries, and my favorite recces cups.
