DIY: Birds nest necklace

I was just in love with this DIY Kinsey shared in her blog (which is amazing!). As soon as I saw it I went to Hobby Lobby to buy the supplies and came out with this.

 This necklace is my go-to accessory when I need that pop. I've found myself often pairing it with simple black or solid  tees and skinnies. Surprisingly, I have yet to pair it with a dress..I should change that. Definitely.

On a completely different note I've been looking for new summer reads.  I've gone to local books stores and find myself being overwhelmed so many books I can never choose one. It's like i want to buy all of them, but then i don't, silly. Right now I'm reading harry potter series which are awesome but I want to have some other good reads in hand after I'm done.Any suggestions?
